DCS Advisory & DC Advisory Speak with Reuters about the Complexities of Cross-Border transactions

With cross-border M&A deals on the rise, DCS Advisory and sister company DC Advisory spoke with Reuters’ Business Debate about the complexities of these transactions and what organizations looking at strategic global growth must note before embarking on the process.

Global mergers and acquisitions have been on the rise since 2013. In 2016, OECD’s Global Forum on International Investment noted the trend, confirming three years of annual growth in global M&A since cross-border M&A volumes last declined in 2012. 2017 has seen the trend continue, with a significant increase in deals value $500m – $5bn[1].  2018 looks set to follow suit – with an imbalance of excess capital and deployment opportunities primarily responsible for driving the trend.
