Based in San Francisco, Ed is a Managing Director for DCS Advisory, where he focuses on M&A in the Enterprise Software and Security sectors. He has more than 40 years’ experience as an investment banker and lawyer advising high-growth technology companies.
Prior to joining DCS Advisory, Ed was a partner at Seven Hills Partners and a Managing Director at Broadview International. From 1971 to 1997, he was an Associate and then Partner at the San Francisco law firm of Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison, where he co-founded and led its Palo Alto Office and Business and Technology Group.
Ed earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School and a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University. He was an A-6A Intruder pilot in the U.S. Navy and served as Chairman of the San Francisco Fleet Week Committee for 14 years, producing the annual San Francisco Fleet Week event featuring the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team.
